About the Role

Angel Business Communications is a well-established B2B media and events company based in Coventry. We produce leading publications, digital platforms, conferences, and awards across the IT and technology sectors.

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design & Multimedia Assistant to join our in-house design team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong design skills and a passion for multimedia content creation to gain hands-on experience across print, digital, video, and event design.

You’ll work alongside our Design Manager and wider digital teams to produce creative materials for our events, magazines, websites, and digital campaigns, supporting the visual identity across all Angel Business Communications brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Creative Production
    • Create and deliver visual assets for print and digital use including event materials, web banners, social media graphics, advertisements, and presentations.
    • Support the development of branded collateral for conferences, awards, and marketing campaigns.
    • Assist with layout and artwork preparation for magazines and digital publications.
  • Multimedia & Video Support
    • Help edit and produce short videos for event promotions and digital platforms.
    • Work with multimedia and marketing teams to ensure cohesive visual content across channels.
  • Digital Campaign & Marketing Support
    • Assist in designing and scheduling digital marketing materials such as emails, newsletters, and social media posts.
    • Help maintain consistency across all campaign visuals in line with brand guidelines.
    • Support campaign tracking and updates as required.
  • Administrative & Team Support
    • Provide administrative and creative support to the design and digital teams.
    • Maintain organised file systems, artwork templates, and project timelines.
    • Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to ensure deadlines are met.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally 1–2 years of experience in graphic design or a strong portfolio of creative work (graduates considered).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro or Canva a plus.
  • Strong eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency.
  • Basic understanding of social media and digital marketing design formats.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for design and media.
